When asked about community events, nearly 60% of respondents expressed a strong desire for more festivals, music, and outdoor concerts. The City strives to provide the community with year-round, top-quality, inclusive events focused on engagement and a variety of entertainment offerings to meet the needs of every citizen.
Analysis
In 2025, the City of Bartlett hosted over 400 special events, sparking creative new traditions such as the Bartlett Bayou Bash, which drew approximately 2,000 people to Freeman Park.
Popular favorites also continued to thrive, including Food Truck Fridays and the Bartlett LIVE summer concert series. Major annual events—the Fireworks Extravaganza, Fall Festival, and Christmas Parade—all saw growing attendance. New and returning programs added to the excitement, with Fire Pit Fridays making a successful return and the City launching the inaugural Rolling Around the Christmas Tree event in December.
Alongside these large‑scale celebrations, the Parks Department organized numerous neighborhood activities, including Rec Rover, Park Palette, Paws in the Park, and even Goat Yoga. Altogether, Bartlett concluded the year with 469 events, far surpassing the initial goal of 300 community events.
